Very Pleased,
This is the best soaker hose I have ever owned. It delivers the same amount of water at the end of the hose as it does at the beginning. The other hoses deliver far more water near the beginning of the hose and not nearly enough at their end. The Gilmour is far easier to use and takes up very little storage space.
The other hoses I have used you have to be extra careful with or they will break even when they are new. I had one at the beginning of this summer that I had just taken out of the package and it broke in two. I’d be very surprised if the gilmour ever does.
When I unrolled my Gilmour it was kinked in two places. I turned on the water and the hose straightened itself out without any help from me. Do this with a regular soaker hose and at the very least you will get a hole in it. Also I need to mention that I did not have to wrestle with it like you do with the others.
I will be replacing my other hoses with Gilmour’s as soon as they break. That should be very soon.

This hose is to a conventional soaker hose what a rocketship is to a horse and buggy. The exterior casing of this hose is a nylon-type of fabric. I have no idea what is below that fabric exterior but I can observe how much more supple the hose is, and how water flows evenly and in much larger quantities than through a standard, perforated rubber hose. And, of course, there is the warranty: lifetime replacement.
Tired of playing the fool by buying another piece of junk which needs to be replaced every year or so due to lousy quality or engineered obsolescence? Go Gilmour!
I hope the folks at Gilmour are proud of themselves; they have a right to be and their pride and quality is apparently more than words: it’s in their amazing promise:

|I’m glad I bought this soaker hose,
I purchased this soaker hose to use on two 4′ x 10′ raised bed vegetable gardens. The 75-foot hose was long enough to cover both beds well. One hour of soaking from our low pressure well system was enough to saturate the 6-inch deep soil. Coverage was even throughout once I straightened out a few sharp bends in the hose. I’m glad I ordered the Gilmour hose instead of buying the version that our local Super Discount Store sells.
